Boat Rental Policies

 

  • NO CHARGE: Cancel up to 7 days prior to start of rental date.

    50% CHARGE: Cancel within 7 days of rental start date.

    FULL RENTAL CHARGE: Cancel the day of the start date.

  • All boats must be returned by 5pm, boats returned after 5pm will be charged hourly based on the rates below.

    Pontoon Boats: $250 per hour

    Other Motorboats: $100 per hour

    Canoes & Kayaks: $15 per hour

  • ​New York State Law as of 2025, all operators of motorized vessels, regardless of age, will be required to have a Boating Safety Certificate.

    However, you may RENT a motorboat without completing the Boating Safety Course. The Marina must demonstrate how to properly use the boat before renting it.

    Although we encourage everyone to earn their Boating Safety Certificate, it is not required for rending a boat in New York State.

  • The person signing the lease will cover all costs and the replacement of all damaged goods.

    This includes, but is not limited to:

    1. The prop is returned chipped, broken, or falls off.

    2. If anything is damaged on the boat, or seats are damaged in any way.

    3. Anything is missing such as paddles, life jackets, electronics, etc.

    Please return your rental boat in the same condition as you took it out. Treat the boat well and enjoy the day!

  • Pontoon Boats: Renters & operators must be 27 years of age or older.

    All Other Boats: Operators must be 26 and follow NYS boater regulations (see Licensing & NY Boater Cards above).
